Following the enthusiastic reception of their sustainable consolidation hub in Gdynia in 2022, this global logistics leader entrusted us with a second major project: their new space in Warsaw’s P180 office building. The objective was to adapt the successful "home-like" aesthetic of the first location while introducing new spatial solutions tailored to the Warsaw team. By prioritising functional zoning, acoustic comfort, and a rigorous "less waste" approach, we created a modern, employee-friendly environment that actively reduces stress and enhances productivity.

A proven partnership
When a design perfectly aligns with a company's culture, it becomes a template for future growth. Our first collaboration with this client in Gdynia proved that a logistics giant could successfully pivot from a standard corporate environment to a warm, residential-inspired workspace. For their new Warsaw office, the client’s goal was simple but ambitious: to replicate that success and create a workplace that employees genuinely enjoy coming to.

Beginning with a strategy
The starting point for the Warsaw project was the functional layout provided by the building's architecture. However, even before entering the conceptual phase, our team worked closely with the client to introduce key spatial improvements. We analysed the needs of the approximately 170 employees who would utilise the space to ensure the layout would support both focused work and collaborative hybrid models.

2
A cohesive visual identity
Because the aesthetic developed for the Gdynia office was so highly appreciated, we naturally continued and refined this approach in Warsaw. We utilised a warm, inviting colour palette to enhance the home-like feel, strategically contrasting these earthy tones with the client's signature corporate blue in key representative areas.

Materiality and wellness
The selected materials were chosen not just for their durability, but for their visual and tactile qualities. Employees are surrounded by smooth and grooved birch and oak plywood, natural cork, timber, and terracotta. This rich, textured materiality is complemented by abundant lush greenery, which serves both a highly aesthetic function and a critical wellness role, purifying the air and bringing a calming touch of nature indoors.

3
Rethinking the open space
A top priority defined by the investor was ensuring acoustic comfort and visual privacy within the large open-space areas. To achieve this without building oppressive walls, we divided the floorplate into smaller, human-scaled sectors. We utilised elevated storage units with built-in lockers as natural boundaries, topping them with lush greenery to soften the visual landscape.

Ergonomic comfort
To further enhance the cosy and quiet atmosphere, we integrated round acoustic panels covered with soft fabrics and warm plywood accents throughout these work zones. Ergonomics was also placed at the forefront of the functional design; almost all of the 108 desks are height-adjustable, granting employees maximum comfort and autonomy over their physical working conditions.

4
Circular design in practice
Because sustainability is a foundational value for the client, eco-friendly and "less-waste" solutions were a natural and non-negotiable choice for the design. We prioritised the use of natural and recycled materials at every level of the fit-out. The ceilings feature compostable wood wool and recycled felt, while the floors are covered in bitumen-free recycled carpets that offer excellent acoustic properties.
A standout feature of our sustainable approach was the strategic reuse of existing assets. From the very outset of the project, we planned to salvage selected elements from the client’s previous office and central warehouse. Old acoustic panels were creatively repurposed into custom decorative wall features, giving them a new, elevated life within the space rather than sending them to a landfill.

Living sustainability
Greenery was integrated not merely as a decorative afterthought, but as an active component of the office's sustainable ecosystem. By thoughtfully selecting and positioning plant life throughout the workspace, we supported indoor air quality and natural employee wellness. This biophilic approach perfectly complements the use of raw, natural materials, ensuring the space feels both environmentally responsible and genuinely alive.
