We are thrilled to share that our very own Research & Strategic Design Director, Barbara Majerska, has officially defended her PhD at the Warsaw University of Technology's Faculty of Architecture!

Her dissertation, "Architectural determinants of the human workplace in contemporary office buildings and home spaces adapted for these activities," tackles the rapid evolution of where and how we work. She explored the architectural determinants of the human workplace, looking closely at both contemporary office buildings and the domestic spaces that temporarily replaced them during the pandemic.

By blending architecture, psychology, and management, Dr Majerska completely redefines workplace ergonomics. Her real-world research provides us with actionable tools to design offices as dynamic ecosystems — spaces that actively support mental wellbeing, team culture, and everyday mobility.
